Short on cash? Want to give a personalized gift? If you have a Sharpie and a white plate or a white cup you have a gift. All you have to do is write a personal message or add a cute saying, even draw a picture with the Sharpie. Bake the cup or the plate in the oven on the lowest setting for 30 minutes. The Sharpie design will become permanent.

DIY Cork Board

Easy DIY projects that result in useful items are the best. This project is super easy and makes for a really unique message center. If you drink wine and save your corks you are in luck! If you don’t you can easily by corks at most hobby type stores. You need a picture frame (you can score one from the thrift store) grab a glue gun and some black acrylic paint. Paint the entire frame and even the area where the picture goes in black. Let it dry then arrange the corks into a uniform pattern. Start gluing each cork into place. You can also cover your entire wall with cork board and turn it into a message center.
