Silicone Rubber Compounds – Their Advantages and Applications

For us, every production stage counts, thanks to which we can guarantee quality that is appreciated not only by customers from Poland but also by other European countries. What do we manufacture, and how can you use silicone rubber compounds in your business?

More Details on The Production of Silicone Rubber Compounds

Are you looking for a manufacturer of high-quality silicone rubber compounds? When deciding on a specific cooperation with a given company, pay attention to its reputation and the degree of advancement of production processes to receive a product in accordance with the order, also for individual orders.

Only then can the silicone compound be fully used in further processing methods and adaptation to the needs of a specific business.

Each silicone compound is subjected to special processing and vulcanization. During this process, it is necessary to maintain the right level of pressure to remove air bubbles accumulated in the silicone compound and give it the right shape and density.

In the case of HTV silicone, it is possible to extrude it by compression molding CM. In this process, the precise selection of temperature and pressure is of great importance.

The big advantage that determines the frequent use of this method is low production costs as well as the ability to produce small batches of the product.

Another solution is TM Transfer Moulding. In this method, very high pressure is used, which allows the materials to be completely forced into the forms, their maximum filling, and the removal of air accumulated inside.

Advanced manufacturing processes also include the use of Injection Moulding INJ. This method is characterized by very high productivity and efficiency, which is why it is used in mass production.

It is a more expensive method, but it is very precise and does not require manual corrections in extruded finished products. This method is suitable for the production of large quantities of small components.

Wide Variety of Products – Silicone HTV

Silicone HTV can be based on the platinum catalyst or peroxide cured. It requires the use of high temperatures in the vulcanization process.

Silicone HTV is most often used in industrial companies, automotive, construction, and agriculture. Apart from that, there are many products extruded from this material, such as garden hoses, round cords, and cables.

Our Range of Products – Silicone LSR

Silicone LSR is a liquid silicone that has many applications. Products made of this material are characterized by high resistance to liquids and fluids used in the automotive industry, such as petrol and diesel oil.

It is also used in the electrical, installation, construction, medical, and food industries. Besides, LSR silicone is used in the production of baby and toddler care accessories, pacifiers, and teethers.

LSR silicone is tear-resistant and meets all stringent requirements for its safety in further use.

This material is also distinguished by its high tensile strength and durability. It usually does not require additional heat treatment, except in the production of medical and baby accessories. Then it is recommended to subject them to additional post-curing.

Silicone Compounds with Many Applications – Silicone RTV

Products made of silicone RTV are used in many industries because this material can be subjected to a very diverse thermal and mechanical treatment. It is often processed under pressure and temperature. What are the biggest advantages of RTV silicone?

Firstly, they are characterized by high resistance to extremely low and high temperatures.

This makes them undamaged outside, where they are exposed to UV radiation and changing weather conditions.

Products made of RTV silicone are resistant to chemicals and do not react chemically with various substances.

You can use them without worrying about human health and environmental safety. In addition, they are flame retardant.

RTV-1 and RTV-2: What Are the Differences Between Them?

One-part, room-temperature vulcanizing silicones are composed of polysiloxane, fillers, hardeners, and other added substances.

It is a self-leveling silicone with high anti-tear strength. It is used in the manufacture of components that complement metal, silicone, ceramic, and glass products.

Room Temperature Vulcanizing Two-component is valued in the production of household appliances as well as in the lighting, medical, and electronic industries.

This type of silicone can be cured quickly with UV technology while the process is fully controlled.

Silicone rubber compounds are dedicated to various applications, and thanks to their durability, strength, and flexibility, they can be subjected to many processing methods, thanks to which high-quality, safe, and damage-resistant components are obtained for various industries and businesses. Silicone compounds are also available in special varieties, where maximum reliability is mandatory.
