If you’re a landowner, then there are probably some issues that you have to deal with from time to time, which perhaps you’ve begrudgingly become accustomed to.
A couple of the most common ‘niggles’ that landowners have is that they have to pay out for the maintenance of their land and, may be subject to fines if the land is not kept in good order.

It may sound like a bit of a high-class problem, however, if you own a sizable bit of land, then you’ll already be nodding in agreement, and might be interested to know a bit more about how you can manage your land upkeep in a slightly, different way than you might be used to, and make some money at the same time;
The Solution, or the Problem?
For at least a couple of decades, maybe even longer, various surveys have been conducted, about livestock and land, more specifically, the impact that life stock has on land over time.
There are some interesting articles which strongly suggest that livestock has been responsible for things like water pollution, deforestation, affecting the overall pollution levels that contribute towards ‘The greenhouse effect), and for being instrumental in the creation of new deserts in places like Africa.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see that such claims haven’t really taken all of the facts into consideration, which, one would think would be the job of a scientist/research professional.
Anyhow, humans are but a ‘dot’ on the timeline of the earth’s existence, an infant, if you like, in terms of when we arrived on the planet, which was, well after animals did. So, you can bet your bottom dollar that Animal feeds ingredients, certainly was not an issue back then.
When did This Supposed Problem Start?
Records suggest that the earth is some 4.5 billion years old, and animals of various kinds have lived on the planet for some 800 million years.
Now, considering that, according to the history books, the earth was a pretty awesome place to be back then in terms of how natural and, ‘untouched’ it was, the animals had actually done a pretty good job in maintaining the natural balance of life and helping to maintain the vast landscapes. Sometimes we need animal removal services and pest control companies.
That is where livestock could be the ideal answer to your maintenance, and land preservation issues. Animals/livestock have to eat or graze so there is every chance that they will naturally ‘mow’ your grass for you.
Having the land occupied all the time, even by animals is a really good idea when it comes to added security, any unwanted visitors are far less likely to step foot on your land if it is occupied by something or someone.
It’s Hard to See How They Could Be the Problem
If anything, animals, or livestock are the solution. They also help to provide a natural ‘tool’ for keeping the ground itself in good healthy order, even, just the act of them walking around for most of the day will help to maintain the ‘lay of the land.
On top of that, when animals eat, they will also need to urinate and poo, probably more than one would like, but it’s great for the land.
The soil gains invaluable nutrients from animals’ urine and poo, so much so that they tend to be a key ingredient of fertilizer that is used to aid the growth of plants.
Bearing in mind that we need plants in order to provide us with oxygen, and to maintain a healthy level of carbon monoxide within the air that we breathe, you could say that animals have actually done a better job than ‘people’.
Enter Humans!
To put things into perspective a little, humans have occupied the earth for around 300 thousand years, yes, that’s 300 thousand! When compared with 800 million years, for animals and around 4.5 billion years when it comes to the age of the Earth, logic tells us that the problems faced today relating to the planet’s overall health have everything to do with humans.
We are the Problem and the Solution
Now, that’s not to say that animals haven’t contributed to some of the challenges faced today within the ecosystem, however, those issues are only real issues based on human intervention.
For example, many farms or animal breeding grounds are far too heavily populated. They can, sometimes use artificial pesticides and various other, non-natural ways of encouraging increased evolution.
The Thing is…….
With anything that is unnatural, it won’t last forever, and you’d be hard pushed to find anything artificial that isn’t more detrimental than it is by way of a long-lasting, sustainable, healthy alternative solution.
If you’re a person that calls a spade a spade, then you’ll hopefully agree that anything ‘man-made’ is essentially fabricated, fake, not real, and although some ‘supposed solutions’ were deemed to be the best things since sliced bread, the history books tell us a different story.
Man-Made, Usually Equals Disaster
Something like asbestos is a really good example because it was so widely adopted and used throughout the entire construction industry. Only to find out later on down the line that it is, in fact, a silent killer that has taken the lives of countless people worldwide.
But people knew best, and, largely due to cost savings, similar products or materials have also been used, their true dangers are still yet to be seen, other than asbestos, plastic was a big cock up, especially considering the lack of education that a large number of the population possess.
What are the Odds?
Based on the current level of human intervention, so far, and how quickly the negative effects of what has already been attempted are, in the name of making or saving money.
As well as attempting to increase our ability to produce goods, and or food on an unprecedented level as we multiply and, essentially consume anything we come in contact with, there is a very high possibility that, not only were they here before us, they’ll probably be here a long time after we’ve gone too!
