Household cleaners with a lot of chemicals don’t live up to the expectations.

Yes, they can effectively clean and sterilize your home, but they emit poisons into your home and the environment when you dispose of them.

So, do you want to make your cleaning routine a little more eco-friendly?

The good news is that it’s not nearly as complicated or costly as it appears.

Instead, it can be a simple and affordable choice that helps you feel even better about your clean home.

Why Should You Green Up Your Cleaning Routine?

Green cleaning products don’t contain harmful chemicals that can hamper the environment. Thus, they reduce air and water pollution in the enclosed office spaces.

They are relatively cost-effective, which is why green cleaning is essential.

If you follow a green cleaning regimen, you will save a lot more water, and we all know how important that is for our environment.

Green cleaning products don’t emit poison, and thus they reduce health risks for your family members and pets.

How to Green Up The Cleaning Routine?

You can green up the cleaning routine all you want with those tiring YouTube suggestions, or you can follow our simple tips and start implementing them right away.

Let’s take a look:

1. Open The Windows

The air quality inside your house might sometimes be more harmful than the air quality outside.

Pet furs, pollen, mildew, and chemicals can all aggravate a person’s allergies or asthma, making the air toxic.

Open your windows to bring in the fresh air every now and again to keep things fresh.

You also get to experience the aroma of fresh air drifting into your home as a bonus.

2. Use Baking Soda

You can use baking soda in your cleaning routine to get rid of the stink from old carpets.

Spray it, wait for some time, and vacuum the powder — along with any odors it trapped.

You may mix baking soda with water and leave it overnight to scrape off all the dirt from your kitchen countertop.

You can also combine vinegar and baking soda to make a loo cleaner.

3. Try A Lemon

Lemons are antibacterial and antimicrobial, so they’ll be an essential element of any all-natural cleaning routine.

To get rid of bacteria, wipe a lemon slice on the chopping surface and disinfectant your veggies.

You can also soak the used lemon peels in vinegar for 2-3 days and use that as a cleaner.

Thus, you’ll have a potent all-around cleanser for your home.

4. Choose White Vinegar

White vinegar has the antibacterial characteristics you need to clean your house.

White vinegar, when diluted, is a powerful stain remover, and a 50-50 mix of vinegar and water will brighten your windows.

You may even prepare some vinegar simultaneously as a fragrant fish supper.

All of the stinks in your house will thus be absorbed by the vinegar.

5. Bring In Borax

Borax softens the water and brightens the colors of your garments, making it easier for your detergent to do its job.

If you use it as a bathroom scrub, a little borax will restore the shine to your tiles and tubs.

You may also make an all-purpose cleaner with a teaspoon of borax, two tablespoons of vinegar, and a little hot water in a spray bottle.

You now have a cleaner that is effective in all parts of your home.

6. Forget Air Fresheners

Some folks use air fresheners to keep that lovely aroma lingering.

Store-bought combinations are sometimes laden with unnatural ingredients that might impair air quality despite the pleasant aroma.

So, instead of a synthetic version, either uses natural aromas or go for natural cleaning products with great scents instead.

Wait for the natural aroma of cinnamon, lemon, or any other plant to waft through your home after boiling it.

7. Cultivate A Houseplant

Houseplants are helpful for more than simply decoration. For one reason, keeping plants in your home has been shown to improve your attitude.

However, some houseplants can help to enhance air quality.

They inhale and exhale the pollutants that are still present in your home.

Then, they breathe out new oxygen for you and your family to enjoy.

Keep Calm and Clean Green!!!
