Some of the grants available are often used to make home improvement which are specifically to make the home more energy efficient.

This means that the person will use quality insulation as well as energy efficient appliances in the home. There may be solar powered water heaters and energy units added to the home to help with the cost of the energy bill each month, thus saving the environment one home at a time.
