Ok, so you’ve put on your interior designer hat and created the perfect space. The furniture, floor, and ceiling could not be more perfectly aligned.

But wait, something is missing. The wall is bare! At a second glance, it looks ok, but it doesn’t make the statement you want: This is so cool, I did it myself!

Maybe vinyl decorations could be the answer?

“I never thought of that…”

Whether you envision a colorful scene or a simple quote to keep you motivated whenever you see it, there is a vinyl solution that can turn your home interior wall decoration project into a tremendous success.

So where do you start? Nervous? Don’t worry, using vinyl makes decorating your wall much easier.

Decide What You Want

Honestly, do you know what you want? First things first: Take some time to examine the room and the specific area you’re looking to decorate.

Ask yourself: What do I want it to say? If you have friends or family who you trust to give you advice, maybe you can snap a pic and ask them for suggestions.

But remember, this is YOUR space. You’re the one that’s going to have to live with your decision. So take your time and make sure you’re 100% satisfied with your choice.

Should you go with words or a picture? What about colors? You need to think about all the possible scenarios before you embark on your vinyl journey.

Why Vinyl Decorations for Walls?

There are traditionalists and some naysayers who may dismiss vinyl decorations for wall in favor of framed pictures, paintings, sculptures, etc. However, here are a few things to consider:

  1. Vinyl wall decorations are very cheap. That may be discouraging for some who are obsessed with words like “elegant” and “sophisticated”. But consider this: You could have your favorite inspirational quote at the center or your living room for less than a fraction of the cost of some “work of art” whose meaning you probably can’t begin to explain. This is one area where “more expensive” doesn’t mean better.
  2. Unlike paintings or anything hanging that’s at the mercy of gravity, vinyl wall decorations won’t break. They’re also waterproof in case there is a flood or some unforeseen disaster from a bathroom upstairs.
  3. Vinyl wall decorations are removable. So if you happen to change your mind, you won’t have to go through the hassle of repainting or filling nail holes. (Be sure to ask the retailer or manufacturer for detailed instructions for removing them)
  4. Because they are cheap and removable, vinyl wall decorations allow you to experiment, which gives you major creative flexibility. You can change your wall decorations for specific seasons, months, or even special events. Let’s say you’re having a party at your house, you can decorate your walls specifically for the occasion. But unlike balloons or other typical party fluff, vinyl wall decorations allow you to deliver personalized messages to your guests that will remain relevant long after the party is over.

So there you have it. Now you should have all you need to know about using vinyl decorations on your walls.

Remember, they’re your walls, your world. They should reflect who you are and the things you care about.

Vinyl wall decorations are a fun, economical, and visually impactful choice to redecorate bland home spaces or just add the finishing touch to complete your wonderful new creation. Good luck!
