Paint

One of the best and cheapest ways you can remake your bathroom is to paint. Pick a color that evokes the mood you want in your bathroom, tape everything off, and get to rolling.

And don’t forget the ceiling – having a painted ceiling is a great way to make a space seem taller and more luxurious.

Get New Towels

It may sound silly, but getting new towels is a great way to make your bathroom feel like a new space for cheap.

Splurge a little on some nice towels that fit in with your new bathroom color scheme; you’ll still pay less than you would for a full remodel. And as a bonus, your shower experience will be that much better for having nicer towels!

Add Shelves

Putting shelving in your bathroom combines aesthetics and function. If you’re going for a farmhouse style, hang a whitewashed cabinet, or if you want something more modern, look for a metal freestanding shelf.

You can use the shelf to store extra toiletries and cleaning supplies or to display attractive soaps and candles, as well as extra linens.

Hang Art

Hanging art in your bathroom can make it feel like a more luxurious and engaging space. The kind of art you pick will depend a lot on the style and color scheme you’re establishing for space. If you don’t want to spend a fortune on original art, get a print you love or make some yourself!

Get Feature Pieces

Another great way to bring some character to your bathroom is to get a feature piece or two that draw the eye. This could be a mirror in a statement frame or a cabinet vanity that brings a quirky personality to the room. You could even do a cool tile display using some of the products at Atabelo’s Tile and Stone LLC.

Start Your Bathroom Makeover

Making over a bathroom doesn’t have to be expensive to be effective. Get creative with color, splurge a little in a few high-impact areas, and use art and statement pieces to your advantage. Your bathroom makeover will wow you every day without you spending a fortune on it.
