You don’t have to have a big bathroom if you want to enjoy the benefits of having a dual vanity. Some small spaces still have enough room for a double vanity rather than just a single, and this can make all the difference in the world.

Even in a small bathroom, two people might share the space, sometimes at the same time.

With a double vanity, you get two sinks, meaning both people in a couple can clean their faces, tend to groom, and apply make-up, all at the same time.

A double vanity makes things more hygienic since both people can wash their hands before and after toilet use without sharing a sink. As you can see, there are many reasons why a double vanity makes sense.

Another benefit to double sink vanity units is how you get even more storage space as compared to just a single unit. That means you have more room to store the things you need every day, such as cosmetics, lotions, shaving supplies, and even cleaning supplies for the whole bathroom.

You might even store extra towels underneath or in drawers instead of on top of the actual vanity. The excess storage space might even work well for storing away extra rugs or linens.

You’ll have plenty of room to place all these things in an attractive arrangement so you have more visual appeal, which is crucial to any bathroom.

Having two different places to handle personal grooming and makeup also helps the bathroom look far less cluttered outside of the cabinet space too. You have room on top to place things around the top of the sink for easy reach and access.

When putting together your bathroom, be mindful of the style and color of your bathroom decor. Keep in mind that the more neutral you go with color in your bathroom vanity, then the easier it will be to decorate around it.

If you’d like to match mirrors with your vanity, then try to buy one that has a relatively similar frame shape. For instance, if your vanity is oval-shaped, then your mirror should also have an oval-shaped frame.

Before you spend any money, be sure that your double vanity has the proper hardware and requisite plumbing. If you do that, you won’t have to get any extra work done putting your double vanity into your bathroom.

Once you do all this, your bathroom will have more usefulness, space, and ambiance.

Shopping online is a great way to go about looking for a new double vanity. In the age of a pandemic, doing brick-and-mortar shopping isn’t always safe, nor even possible.

Still, it’s a great way of seeing and touching actual units with your own eyes and hands. The best prices are likely to be online, though, so long as you factor in shipping costs.

Installing a double vanity can be a DIY project, but there are also affordable professionals who can handle the work for you too. Shop around and do your homework.
