What is Diatomaceous Earth?

Keep in mind to avoid spraying anything that could be damaged by water. Once the water evaporates or dries out, the powder will remain and any insect that travels through it will slowly begin to die.
Safety Precautions
As amazing as Diatomaceous Earth is, it’s important to remember that you still want to use it with some sort of caution. It’s one of the safest options that you have, but you don’t want your toddler playing in the powder and then lick her fingers.
Place it in areas where there’s not too much small human or animal activity, and never leave it in piles or clumps.
