Space/Leg Room

The first thing that a comfortable studio apartment for rent in dubai needs is space and legroom. This means that you can store your belongings and walk around the apartment without feeling cramped. While there can be a compromise in this regard, you should not feel pressed up against the wall. Such discomfort can ruin a renting experience.

Kitchen Space

The kitchen should be large enough to move around in. If you don’t have enough counter space to cook, then this can present a serious problem. You should always measure the kitchen to ensure that you will have enough room to cook and prepare food. If you are good at cooking, this too can make or break your studio apartment renting experience.

Shower Space

The shower in a studio apartment for rent should be large enough to meet your needs. If you use a lot of shampoo and conditioner, there should be away to fit it most of the cosmetics in the shower. There also should be enough room for you in the shower stall to maneuver around as you wash yourself, etc.

If you don’t have enough room to maneuver in a shower stall and feel pressed against the wall or even claustrophobic, the shower size is too small at this might not be the best studio apartment for rent for you to get.

Furniture Space

You should be able to have a desk in your studio apartment for rent as well as any small furniture you would like to have. While some people advocate working in their bed if they work from home, we contend that is a recipe for disaster as you do not want to fall asleep while working.

If the studio apartment for rent has room for a small desk and a small table, then you should investigate getting this studio apartment for rent.

Cabinet and Closet Space

Even though this sounds like a no-brainer, there should be enough room in the cabinets and closet to fit most of your belongings while being able to keep the belongings out of the closets and cabinets and still having room to move around.

If you do not have enough cabinet and closet space for your necessities, then the studio apartment for rent that you are looking for may not be the best one for you.

Kitchen Appliances

Some studio apartments for rent will come with a fully fitted kitchen. Others come with kitchen white goods, such as a dishwasher. In most countries, it is required that the landlord provide a bare minimum of a stove, oven, sink, and refrigerator.

You should always check to make sure that the kitchen has a stove, oven, sink, and refrigerator. If it doesn’t, it means the landlord is cutting corners and who knows what else he is hiding from you.

An Escape Window

While this goes without saying, you should always have a way to get out of the apartment. If you do not have an escape window or any other means of escape in an emergency, including a set of emergency stairs, then do not take this apartment. You would not want to ride in a car without seatbelts; likewise, you do not want to live in an apartment with out a means of escape.

Conclusion

If your apartment does not have the bare necessities of a kitchen stove, oven, refrigerator, and sink, nor a way of getting out of your apartment in case of an emergency, do not get the studio apartment for rent. Other aspects of a studio apartment for rent, such as the dimensions of the bathroom or kitchen, can be compromised on – however, your safety and wellbeing should not be compromised.
