Why Should You Move to Canary District in Toronto?

Condo Mapper is your real estate partner to find the best property for you and your family right in the Canary District.

Here are some of the reasons why you should definitely move to this neighborhood.

1. The District’s Buildings Were Made Under Strict Standards

When looking for a home, it’s crucial to know that the buildings are developed not only with a reliable developer but have also observed strict standards.

The buildings at Canary District were certified by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Standards. Rest assured that your home can withstand whatever the season or weather.

2. Close to a Prominent College University

Sounds like some good news to all college aspirants out there. The district is close to the newly built student residence, George Brown College where freshmen and other students alike can be close to their colleges.

It’s a new opportunity to meet friends, explore the vibrant city, and learn new things while enjoying college life.

3. Boasts New Roadways

Whether you’re a fan of driving or not, you’ll be surprised that this neighborhood has well-appointed road structures for the community’s safety and convenience.

Even if you choose to commute, the transport system is also superb and consistent. When you look at other neighborhoods in some cities, road problems are always a concern to some residents. When you’re in Canary, that problem should no longer exist.

4. New Parks for Your Kids and Fitness Goals

One thing we like to do near our homes is to find a neighborhood where kids and adults alike can play. Canary has installed new parks where kids can run freely and safely after school and adults as well can do a jog before and after work.

All for leisure and recreational activities to increase the morale of the community. Activities and events will be held here in the future, so make sure you don’t miss any of those.

5. Canary Preserved Its Historical Roots

Amidst the modernization, Canary is proud to be able to restore one of the prominent buildings around the area. For example, they were able to preserve an 1850 former school that has produced elite academic scholars back in the mid-18th century.

Another historical building that you will admire in the area is the original Canary Restaurant Building and CN Police Building, all of which will take you back in time as you stroll around the area. A perfect family bonding to talk about history to your kids.

Canada is big and there are so many cities and districts to choose from when considering a home to settle in. Make sure you are updated with Condo mapper’s current property listings to find the home of your dreams.
