The Benefits
For some planning applications, it is already becoming a requirement later on into the process, to provide Photo-montages to support the proposal. Securing planning permission can be a challenging process. This of course means that every planning application will have to include CGI. It is worth noting that in the first three months of 2017, planning authorities in England received 123,300 applications for planning permission.
For these applications to include CGI, you can only assume would have helped the process with the ability to understand the relationship between the proposal and the surrounding context. A simple CGI of a commercial development or a residential home can cost anywhere between £300 – £1,000. If we take in to account the purpose of the service and what level of support it offers, then maybe these costs do in fact fit into any budget.
