Utility Specific

These are shorter than the chef’s blades and are often known as sandwich knives. They are available in two styles, one is serrated and the other one is a straight blade.

They are versatile and can be used for all-around purposes in the kitchen such as slicing meat, slicing bagels, buns, cutting sandwiches. Also, they can be used for all the general kitchen tasks.

Paring Specific

Paring blades are small pieces of cutlery and have very thin blades. They are also available with straight and serrated edges and are usually sold in sets.

Steaks

These are the blades that are used less for cooking but more for eating purposes. They are used to set the table and help you in having a good chopped dinner.

They are quite sharp and can be used to give you the best experience while you enjoy expensive steaks with ease.
