Increasing curb appeal to any home is exceptionally important. When you’re able to create a home that not only works for you but is a delight to be seen by others, you earn a residence that you’re proud to call home and can share with others.

1. Start with the Front Door

The front door is the first thing that guests see when they come to your home, so it’s important to make a good impression starting with the exterior of a house.

Start by giving the door a fresh coat of paint in a color that compliments the rest of your home’s exterior. Then, add some new hardware, like a shiny new doorknob and door knocker.

3. Spruce up Your Home Landscaping

Your landscaping should be neat, tidy, and well-maintained. Start by pulling any weeds and trimming back any overgrown bushes from your beautiful lawn. Then, add some fresh mulch to your flower beds and add some new plants.

Finally, don’t forget to add a few touches like a birdbath or a bench to really make your landscaping pop.

4. Give Your Home a Power Wash

A power wash will remove any dirt, pollen, or other build-ups that have accumulated on your home’s siding. This will not only make your home look cleaner, but it will also help protect your siding from future damage.

5. Get Green Grass

The key to getting green grass is to have a healthy lawn. A healthy lawn is one that is well-nourished and receives the proper amount of sunlight, water, and air.

To have a healthy lawn, you need to fertilize it regularly. You can either do this yourself or have a professional lawn care company do it for you. Fertilizing your lawn will ensure that your grass gets the nutrients it needs to grow healthy and green.

Water your lawn at least once a week, and more if it is particularly hot or dry outside. Be sure to water deeply, so that the roots of the grass get hydrated.
