Bats Flying around Your Home
One of the most obvious signs of a bat infestation are bats flying around your home. If you consistently see bats flying about at sunset or sunrise, then chances are they’re living in your home.
Bats are nocturnal creatures, so they’re waking up and heading out in the evenings and then coming home to rest in the mornings.

Strange Noises
A house infested with bats is going to have some strange sounds going on. Listen for high pitched squeaks. If you hear the bats, it’s best to not attempt bat infestation removal on your own.

Grease Stained Holes
If bats are living in your home, then there’s an entry point that they are coming and going from. This becomes the bat’s “front door” to their new home. As the bats move through the hole, it will become coated with a greasy black resin type of substance.
Walk around the outside of your home and look for signs of this entry point. Now you know where you need to seal up your home once you have the infestation addressed. Do not seal the hole and think this will solve the infestation problem.

An obvious sign of a bat infestation is the actual droppings. Venture up into your attic and take a look at the floor. If several bats are living in your home, then the droppings will build up quickly.
