Practically all that is required for the container garden is a container having excellent drainage, dirt, sunshine, H2O plus time. I would recommend you start with a herb garden since they grow up rapidly and can keep on growing while you cut off herbs for cooking with.

Our windowsill was kind of narrow and packed so my friend created a plant stand that allowed me to have nearly triple the number of containers I had produced on the windowsill.

After we had been married we moved into one half of a duplex though we were not allowed to dig up the yard. And so we basically had the driveway to grow our container garden.
